In the fall of 2024 Vittoria Bussi anounced her retirement from professional racing after an unsuccessful attempt at the 3000 m individual pursuit world record. However, on 1st may 2025 she announced to make a return to the velodrome with two world record attempts in Aguascalientes/Mexico: First extending her current Hour benchmark on 9th May, followed by an attempt at the women’s 4000 m individual pursuit record+.
There was no news on 9th May, one day later the UCI announced a new record of 50.455 km/h, 188 m more than in 2023. It came out that on 9th may, after a promising opening pace, she was forced to abandon the attempt around the halfway mark. One day later she returned, this time successfully.
Like in her 2023 attempt, there is almost no detailed information, videos or photographs. (One photo from the actual UCI press release even shows her 2023 attempt...)
After the record there were some "stories" posted on Vittoria's Instagram page, including some short videos. Again she was riding her Hope HB.T bike in a very upright position, pushing an incredible high gear, I estimated a cadence around 75 rpm. The helmet was different from the 2023 attempt, now she used a Giro Aerohead II.
The Instagram stories disappeared after 24 hours, so currently there is no static video clip, just posts from sponsors/team members/friends:

A summary of the attempt at Pro Cycling UK: Vittoria Bussi breaks her own Hour Record with 50.455km in Aguascalientes
"bici.PRO" (in Italian): L’Ora già in tasca, Bussi va per i 4 chilometri

Since there has been no video coverage of the attempt, right now the only detailed information about lapt times are from Xavier Disley ( twitter.com/xavierdisley )

Again I extracted the lap time data from this graph by mouse clicking. Comparison between Bussi '23 and Bussi '25: As in the 2023 attempt, her pacing is incredibly steady compared to some attempts from other athletes.

+ In fact she broke the 4000 m individual pursuit record on 16th may with a time of 4’23”642 ("Bussi conquista un altro record: dopo l'Ora si prende il primato mondiale dei 4 km")
